Applications Are Being Accepted for Spring 2010 Troop B Membership

The first official step in becoming a Lancer Troop A member is to Enlist in Troop B. Troop B training begins in May of each year and starts with a full weekend of training which includes stable management, the care of horses, correct military protocol and preliminary mounted instruction. Riding experience is not required but past experience is helpfull. Candidates must pass a background check, be in good physical health, submit an application to the Troop B commander, submit references where required and pass required interviews. Qualified enlistees must be between the ages of 17 and 65 and are interested in riding, participating in parades and other patriotic events.
