Thank you for your interest in joining the National Lancers. We are excited to inform you about our Candidate Training Program designed to develop military discipline, professionalism, teamwork, and horsemanship skills for eligible candidates.

Troop B – Ground Support (Non-Riders)
Troop B consists of non-riding troopers who provide essential operational and logistical support to the unit. Troop B candidates complete a 6-month training program focused on horse handling, military customs, and support responsibilities.

Meet-and-greet sessions for prospective candidates are held on select Wednesday or Thursday evenings, by appointment only. These sessions provide an opportunity to see our facility, meet our recruiting and training staff, ask any questions you may have, and complete an application.

If you would like to schedule an appointment or require further information, please feel free to email [email protected] or contact CPT Domey at 508-213-4575.

No riding experience is required as we will teach you horsemanship, care of the horse and riding equipment.  We will also teach you the fundamentals of military bearing.
